An investor model for OEM projects
[SYNOPSIS]
This research evaluates who are the current and possible investors in Off Earth Mining (OEM), what their criteria for investment are, what are their commercial expectations, and what are the technologies they are interested in investing in. The primary method utilised will be a survey of the venture capital, space and mining industries to determine common investment criteria required, financial and otherwise. Then, each industry’s technology roadmaps will be reviewed to identify key technologies with the most commercial market. Based on this information, a new ranking model will be developed using these criteria to identify and rank the most commercial OEM opportunities and technologies. Additionally, an OEM exploration mission will be proposed and developed to address uncertainty in OEM resource availability.
