Dr Andrew Cannon AM was the Senior Mining Warden in South Australia for thirty years and advised on two major reforms of the mining legislation in South Australia and has conducted intensive short courses on resource law. He currently has a landowner miner conciliation practice. Andrew has an extensive experience in drafting process rules. He drafted Rules of Court for two Magistrates Courts in Australia and was a member of the Supreme Court rules committee in South Australia. His PhD was on structuring process rules to achieve fair and efficient outcomes.

He has extensive academic and teaching experience. He is an adjunct Professor at Adelaide University where he is advising on the development of space mining protocols and Münster University in Germany where he conducts an annual intensive short course on Australian constitutional law.
